Damien ♥ Music
Took a few pics of LCD Soundsystem with Hot Chip in Milwaukee with my homie Jacco that were used on a Dutch music blog.
Like sand through the hourglass...
At it again. Writing, that is. I've decidedly conjured a title for my first book, and the first in its series: The Princess of Eden. It tells the sorty an orphaned young girl named Imogen Leveque whose quest to find those responsible for her parents brutal murder lead to the depths of her subconscious to uncover the truth. She is swept into a mysterious world of the occult as she struggles to maintain her resolve and sanity. I'll post bits and pieces in the upcoming weeks and have a sample chapter each month.

Blogosphere

I dont want my blog to become an online diary as i loathed the 'livejournals' of yesteryear. I also can't say that I would speak from a place of earnest to draw sympathy to a particular view nor will I mold it to reflect societies obsession with itself as Geegs would call, 'navel gazing'. I will also refuse to join the ranks of the pedantic 'theory crafting'; always spamming along about how techincal 'technology' is.
I have no interest in any of it. Life in the common era reflects a favorite painting of mine being, 'Musashi on the back of a whale'. A close view will reveal that Musashi, who's great in karma and technique is on a back of a large whale who is in its own right great in karma and viewed as the king of the ocean. This is a remarkeable allusion of strenght, obviously. Yet there is a third player in the scene and its the Ocean itself! The whale wrestles with the Ocean as Musashi wrestles with the whale. I see life in this manner. We wrestle with one thing as it wrestles with another. We rarely see how large the full view is and perspectively pass judgement on ourselves or others.
What is the purpose of this weblog? I supose you'll have to decide.

Maiden Voyage
In the spirit of referencing 'maiden voyages' I vehemently suggest not swimming in the Oak Park 'pleasure' fountain on Marion Street. Monkey see, monkey do.
